New York City’s Graphics Industry
Volunteers Help Graphics Teachers Teach and Graphics Students Learn … and Grow
We’re theĀ Graphics Industry Advisory Commission, an all-volunteer group of executives, academics, vendors, employers and analysts that works to keep New York’s schools up-to-date with the exciting changes affecting the digital graphics industry and the expanding opportunities for skilled careers in the field.
New York’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) teachers offer a wide range of relevant and engaging graphics subjects including digital and offset printing, desktop publishing and design, digital photography and image manipulation, presentation graphics, digital video and multimedia animation, and electronic content management. We support their work in six important ways.
